This work is based on a line from the Hal Hartley film Trust, in which one of the characters makes the following remark about the human race in relation to the history of the universe: "We're not fucking important, we're just a crap idea". The images make reference to some important ideas in the history of mankind - history, colonialism, the family, religion, science, philosophy and the individual. The work was accompanied by stickers, some of which ended up on the exterior of Italian Pavilion at the 1997 Venice Biennale.
